I’m Jalal, the hands and heart behind Damascus Edges. I am a custom bladesmith dedicated to creating heirloom-quality Damascus steel knives for outdoorsmen, collectors, hunters, chefs, and those who value true craftsmanship over mass production.

My journey began with a deep fascination for the beauty and strength of Damascus steel. What started as curiosity evolved into years of disciplined practice, learning, and refinement inside the forge. Today, that passion lives on through every blade that leaves my anvil.
Each knife is forged using time-honored pattern-welding techniques, combining high-carbon steels such as 1095 and 15N20. The steel is heated, folded, hammered, and reforged multiple times to create the flowing patterns that make true Damascus steel legendary — no shortcuts, no machine replication, no compromise.
